Business Development Executive - Farnborough

(£30,000 pro rata) £18,000 a year + commission - Part-time (22.5 hours/week) - Permanent

The role of the Business Development Executive is to generate income for B Radio by attracting and maintaining advertising and sponsorship opportunities from the local business community.

You'll be required to network and cold-call to build relationships, identify opportunities and present and close the sale, then oversee the process of the production of the radio commercial.

You'll be comfortable networking with business leaders, as well as cold-calling and building relationships with local small business owners.

This is a flexible role, with 22.5 hours worked per week, which can be spread out across the week as best suits you.  There's an opportunity to increase hours over time.

It is a requirement that you live in or close to Farnborough (within the vicinity of the Blackwater Valley area).

Experience in media sales, through radio, newspaper or online directories would be an advantage, as would an existing network of business contacts. You'll be comfortable working towards set sales targets.

B Radio is a local Ofcom licensed community radio station, operating as a not for profit organisation, with offices in the centre of Farnborough.
