Readipop Fiesta 2021

Confirmed acts include dance acts KOSHEEN & UTAH SAINTS, 2022 ‘The Voice’ finalist soulstress HANNAH WILLIAMS, turntablist DJ FORMAT and indie-folk trio FLYTE among many others.

The event is being held at Reading University Student's Union, with support from Arts Council England, as a ‘thank you’ for existing Readipop Festival ticketholders who have retained their tickets since its postponement. However, one hundred Double Tickets have now been made available giving entry to both Readipop Festival 2022 (with Sugarhill Gang, Badly Drawn Boy, Jesus Jones & more) and Readipop Fiesta 2021 for the price of a Readipop Festival 2022 weekend ticket (£49.50 + bf). Free tickets are also available for under 14s accompanied by an adult.

With safety as the utmost importance for Readipop Fiesta, the event will be run at a reduced capacity and all attendees will need to show an NHS Covid pass or a recent lateral flow test on entry.

In addition, Readipop Fiesta is running a family area between 2-7pm which features a beatboxing workshop from double UK beatboxing champions BURD, arts and crafts with local art charity Jelly, music workshops with Readipop’s community bands include Beatroots and Tea & Jam plus interactive walkabout theatre and frivolities.

Local craft brewery Double Barrelled will have their beers available throughout the event and delicious street food will be served by Bissy Tree & Tripoli Express. Continent Clothing and Cosmic Dust Glitter Bar will also be on hand to help you perfect your festival look!

Please note: Under 14’s cannot remain on site after 10pm. 14 -16 year olds will be permitted on site provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult. With 8 hours of music and entertainment prior to 10pm, we think young people will have plenty to enjoy on the day!

All money raised from the Fiesta and the Festival goes to help support Readipop’s charity work providing access to music for vulnerable young people and other underrepresented communities locally.
