Woodley Concert Band & West Virginia University Alumni Band present an evening of music from both sides of the Atlantic.

It is a while since Woodley Concert Band have presented an indoor summer concert. So we are delighted to invite you to one this year on July 11th at the University of Reading’s Great Hall. This is a very special concert as we are going to be joined by the University of West Virginia (WVU) Alumni Band. Its members were all players in the WVU band as students, now coming together as graduates in the alumni band for events and tours during the year.
Each band will perform their own programme, with a short break between. You can expect lots of familiar tunes from both sides of the Atlantic. It will certainly be an enjoyable way to spend a summer’s evening, with music from two concert bands in a fabulous venue.
Seats are not numbered so are unreserved. Tickets are available now and can be booked through our website: www.woodleyconcertband.org.uk or by ringing our box office on 0118 211 8261.
There also FREE TICKETS through the WCB First Timers Scheme for anyone who have never been to a WCB concert before – these tickets must be booked in advance via our box office phone number.
