Berkshire Unplugged is B Radio's weekly show and podcast focused on the local music scene in Berkshire, broadcast on a Sunday evening at 7pm.
The show currently features a mix of tracks from local artists, interviews with local artists and gig guide.
It features musicians, producers, singers and bands either in or from Berkshire.
Charlie Charles has produced and presented the show since the station's launch, but now needs to step back due to other commitments.
We're looking for a team of people (ideally 2-3 people) to take on the show, producing it and presenting it on a weekly basis. This would commence from September.
If you have a suitable microphone, the show can also be recorded from home too.
Note: whilst the show is broadcast on a Sunday evening, it can be produced and recorded anytime during the week or weekend before broadcast - you do not need Sunday evening availability to get involved.
You'll benefit from feedback and training from industry professionals.
The role will include (to be shared as a team):
There's scope to further develop the show, following your feedback and suggestions, and as well as access to the studio, we also have portable recording equipment to record interviews with bands at venues in Berkshire.
There's not a requirement to be on the microphone as part of this show if you just want to be involved with writing/producing the show (other members of the team can present).
Want to get involved? Fill in the form below, and we'll be in touch soon!
