Progress on three self-build homes, off Warfield Road (Bracknell app 25/00122/COND)
Plans for three self-build homes on a backland site accessed off Warfield Road, bounded by Sherring Close, have moved on. The land appears to be garden space and the scheme has been in the works since 2018. Details of the external materials and the drainage system have now been approved.
Four new homes in Priestwood rejected (Bracknell app 25/00349/FUL)
A developer’s plan for four semi-detached two‑bed homes in Pollardrow Avenue has been refused. A planning officer judged the developer failed to demonstrate that there could be "safe and suitable access for all future occupants", so the potential risk was judged to outweigh the benefits of the new housing provision.
135 homes at Arborfield Garrison approved (Wokingham app 230153)
Detailed plans for 135 homes on ‘Parcel 02’ of the Arborfield Major Development, by Crest Nicholson, have been approved. The parcel, off Biggs Lane, had its details submitted in January 2023. On December 1 approval was given for materials, car parking and sustainability details.
32 flats at former office in Earley approved (Wokingham app 251814)
A plan to add two storeys to a defunct Regus office at Thames Valley Park to create 32 flats was approved on December 2. Earlier this year a separate plan to convert the existing building into 62 flats was approved, while a two‑storey extension was previously rejected; this newer application for 32 flats, submitted in July, has now been approved.
