A long-running homeware store has relocated to new premises in Woodley town centre.
The Good Home closed its original shop in the Woodley Precinct on Crockhamwell Road and has reopened directly opposite, in the unit formerly occupied by Mystic Lounge Tattoo.
A rumour of the closure circulated in April and was later confirmed by staff to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
"Dear customers and community, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you for all your support at the Good Home store over the many years.
"Your loyalty and encouragement have meant so much to us, and we are truly grateful to be part of this wonderful community.
"We are delighted to announce that we have moved to our new premises, located directly opposite our previous shop at 122 Crockhamwell Road (formerly the tattoo shop).
"We are very fortunate to have been offered this location at the last minute.
"We look forward to welcoming all our existing and new customers to our new location and continuing to provide the service and products you know and trust.
"Thank you once again for your continued support.
"We look forward to seeing you soon at our new shop.
News of the relocation means that the business, which has been going for 14 years, will continue to operate."
