Ochre Meadows in Theale has opened a new community green space, Prince Rupert Square, for residents of the new three, four and five-bedroom homes.
Local people joined a ribbon-cutting by Harry Benyon from the Englefield Estate. Ochre Meadows is being developed by Croudace Homes on land formerly owned by Englefield Estate.
Simon Halfhide, Sales & Marketing Director at Croudace South Thames, said: “We are excited to continue our partnership with the Englefield Estate to provide homes enriched with legacy. The opening of Prince Rupert Square is a fantastic opportunity for residents and the wider community to enjoy the wealth of green space, especially as we start to warm up for spring. At Croudace Homes, it is important that we don’t just deliver homes, but also strong communities, so it is a real pleasure to provide a space for our residents to connect with one another and enjoy the landscaped views.”
Harry Benyon, from the Englefield Estate, added: “Providing appropriate sites for much-needed new homes is a responsibility to the community that the Englefield Estate, as a landowner, takes very seriously. Working with our trusted partners, Croudace Homes, I am proud that we have helped to create Ochre Meadows in Theale, which marries tradition and heritage with the very best of modern living.”
