New Homes Rise in Crowthorne Amid Changes

Progress is being made on the construction of more than 60 homes that will be built in Crowthorne.

Progress is underway on over 60 homes in Crowthorne as part of the Buckler's Park development, with layout adjustments now approved.

Cala Homes has secured permission to alter the cycle storage location for its project of 63 homes, with the new phase providing a mix of 14 two-bedroom, 23 three-bedroom, 14 four-bedroom, and 4 five-bedroom houses near Old Wokingham Road, linked by green space.

In Warfield, a barn will be converted into two homes, a three-bed and a one-bed, with three parking spaces approved, thanks to permitted development rights.

Meanwhile, a plan for 16 homes in Barkham has been rejected due to concerns about its impact on the countryside and poor access to essential services.

Additionally, a proposal for a swimming pool at Hennerton House has been turned down as the owner couldn’t finalise a legal agreement with the council, despite initial approval from the planning department.
