SU’ME, a new noodle and sushi bar, has opened on Broad Street in Reading town centre, between The Alehouse pub and Caffe Nero.
Its website states: "SU’ME is a fast food restaurant specialising in providing mouthwatering noodles and delectable sushi.
"Our mission is to offer a quick and convenient dining experience without compromising on the quality and taste of our food.
"Whether you’re a noodle enthusiast or a sushi lover, we have something for everyone."
A SU’ME staff member said seating is available upstairs. Deliveries are on Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat and Hungry Panda.
It opened in April in the premises previously occupied by House of Doner and Chipstar. Both closed after less than a year: Chipstar opened in December 2021 but closed during the summer of 2022; House of Doner arrived in September last year and only lasted a few months. Before that the building was a vape shop.
