New Thai Eatery's Facelift Approved in Reading

The new look for a Thai eatery that took over from a BBQ restaurant in Reading has been approved.

A new Thai eatery, Eat Nua, has secured approval for its revamped appearance in Reading, taking over from Bluegrass BBQ earlier this summer.

Located next to The Oracle in Gun Street, Eat Nua has received the green light for new signage, replacing the old Bluegrass branding with fresh black lettering that reads ‘Thai Street Food & Bar’.

In addition to Eat Nua's updates, Reading Borough Council has approved several other plans, including the transformation of the old All Bar One at The Oracle Riverside into a Five Guys. This will feature new entrances, seating areas, and the chain's iconic red and white signage.

Further developments include the conversion of beauty treatment rooms at Cemetery Junction into a one-bed flat, accessible via a street-level entrance, and the creation of three new flats in Boult Street, each equipped with a double bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen facilities.
