Help for rough sleepers in West Berkshire Council will be reviewed today (Monday).
The recent cold snap triggered the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP), which provides warm accommodation during extreme weather. SWEP is usually activated when conditions present a risk to life, including extreme cold, wind, snow, rain and heat.
SWEP forms part of the council's wider work with partners, including West Berkshire Homeless, Loose Ends and Newbury Soup Kitchen, to tackle homelessness.
