West Berkshire Council is asking residents, businesses and visitors to share their views on the future of the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) in Newbury town centre.
The council has launched a consultation to decide whether the PSPO should be extended for a further three years or be allowed to expire when its current term ends.
The PSPO was introduced to tackle anti-social behaviour and support the police and partner agencies in keeping the town safe and welcoming.
The consultation runs from 28 September to 9 November.
Thames Valley Police neighbourhood inspector Alan Hawkett says the order helps officers engage with people whose behaviour causes concern and take action before issues escalate. The council says feedback will help shape any decision.
Printed copies of the survey are available from Newbury Library and West Berkshire Council offices.
Feedback received during the consultation will be reviewed before a decision is made. Have your say.
