Crispy Flavours at Cemetery Junction in East Reading has won permission to keep serving customers past 11pm.
It opened earlier this year and has become a popular fast-food spot. While the menu centres on fried chicken, the takeaway also serves pizza, kebabs, burgers and shakes.
Reading content creator Lloyd Harvey gave it a glowing review. He said: "The chicken from here is unbelievably crispy and just tastes really good. Just know that the chicken from here just does not miss. [They] kept surprising me because their kebab was also very good, you can tell their chilli sauce was properly homemade because it had a great sweet kick on it. I'll be honest, I just didn't expect Cemetery Junction to have good food like that."
Crispy Flavours recently won permission to stay open until 1am Sunday to Thursday, and 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Earlier this year the business applied to Reading Borough Council for the extended hours and permission to serve food and drinks past 11pm. No one objected during a 28-day statutory consultation that concluded on Thursday, October 15.
The takeaway is on London Road, in a row of shops. The address was previously occupied by KK's Grill, which opened sometime in 2020 but is now permanently closed.
