Two leading Reform UK figures in Bracknell have been cleared of wrongdoing over a scuffle at the party conference in Birmingham.
The conference, held at the National Exhibition Centre in September, was infiltrated by protesters who heckled party leader Nigel Farage. Footage appeared to show Malcolm Tullett, chairman of Reform UK Bracknell, and deputy chairman Justin Bellhouse in a confrontation with a protester.
West Midlands Police investigated the incident and have decided to take no further action.
A branch Facebook post said both men received formal written confirmation from police, cooperated with the inquiry and acted in what they believed to be the interests of everyone's safety. The post added that they respected a police request to avoid public comment while the matter was under investigation.
Mr Tullett told the Local Democracy Reporting Service he was unable to comment in private in the days after the conference. The Facebook post says he will provide a statement to the media in due course.
Following the footage, two code of conduct complaints were filed against Mr Bellhouse, who is a town councillor for Harmans Water. He was elected in a June 2025 by-election and remains on the council while Bracknell Forest Council investigates the complaints.
