Food hygiene inspectors found seven West Berkshire outlets were given a score of one out of five in the last three months of last year. That means they need major improvements to the way they handle food.
By contrast, 884 outlets scored the top mark of five, meaning 80 per cent of food outlets broadly meet the required standard for food hygiene. None of the outlets tested in that period scored zero.
