TeamSport Go Karting Secures Midnight Alcohol Licence

TeamSport Go Karting in Reading has been given permission to sell alcohol to customers until midnight.

The venue operates from a converted industrial unit on Cradock Road, Whitley. It opened in 2014 and underwent a £1.35 million renovation in 2023 that introduced electric karts and the 'Combat Kart' virtual experience.

Earlier this year the company applied to Reading Borough Council to sell alcohol from 12pm to midnight daily and to play recorded music 9am-midnight on weekdays and 7am-midnight at weekends. The licence was granted after no one objected during a statutory consultation that ended on September 15.

The venue currently opens 9am-11pm, so the new licence allows alcohol sales until midnight.

Food and drinks are served at 'the refuel' area, with burgers, pizzas, hot dogs, light bites and a range of alcoholic, soft and hot drinks. Other features include an arcade and a bowling area.
