Healthwatch West Berkshire has singled out Burdwood Pharmacy in Station Road, Thatcham, after seven people praised staff for making them feel comfortable and supported.
"The staff were so kind, they saw I was a bit worried and asked the pharmacist to sit and talk to me and go through my medication with me, which helped me understand it better," wrote Mrs 'J'.
"In a period where community pharmacies continue to play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of local people, it is heartening to see your work recognised so strongly by those you serve."
"Please pass on our sincere thanks and congratulations to everyone involved."
"Positive experiences like these make a real difference to individuals and to the overall confidence the community has in local health services."
"While much of our work focuses on identifying areas for improvement, we also believe it is important to celebrate when services provide excellent care," said Fiona Worby in the watchdog's annual report.
"During the year, Healthwatch received seven compliments from local people about one service, praising the kindness, compassion and professionalism of staff."
"By highlighting good practice as well as areas for improvement, we help promote a culture of learning, recognition and high-quality care across West Berkshire."
