Wokingham Borough Council is almost finished the first phase of its active travel route from Woodley precinct to Palmer Park in Reading.
A Facebook post says work on the Woodlands Avenue cycle track will be finished on Saturday, August 22, and construction will move straight to the next phase.
The post adds theyve painted double yellow lines on Woodlands Avenue to stop people parking and put down 20mph markings. It says motorists should slow and give way where the cycle track and footway cross side roads; that is part of the Highway Code and applies to all side roads.
