Consultation on New Double Yellow Lines in Earley

Wokingham Borough Council is consulting informally on extending double yellow lines in Earley after parking concerns were reported in The Drive, Erleigh Court Drive and Whitegates Lane.

The proposals would add double yellows at the junction of those streets and along a long stretch of The Drive.

If there is enough support the restrictions would be introduced using an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO) so they can be put in quickly and monitored during an experimental period before any permanent decision.

At this stage no final decision has been made; the council is seeking feedback and will tell residents the outcome and any decisions.

Double yellow lines are already in place at the junction, and a Reading Buses 13 shelter sits close by on The Drive.
