New Reading takeaway Crispy Flavours, which opened in March at Cemetery Junction in East Reading, has applied to sell food until 2am if approved.
It serves fried chicken, wings, pizza and kebabs, and has taken over the site previously occupied by KK's Grill.
It got a glowing review from Reading media personality Lloyd Harvey, who creates content on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
"The chicken from here is unbelievably crispy and just tastes really good."

"[They] kept surprising me because their kebab was also very good, you can tell their chilli sauce was properly homemade because it had a great sweet kick on it."

The 2am request would cover takeaways and deliveries via JustEat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats. Sales past 11pm need approval from Reading Borough Council's licensing department; a 28-day statutory consultation is live.
