A kitchen shop at 53 Donkin Hill in Caversham, formerly home to Dream Doors, looks set to become a convenience store or café.
Dream Doors - which promised ‘new life for old kitchens’ and sold Bosch, Siemens and Hotpoint - is listed as ‘temporarily closed’.
New tenant ‘Sip and Vape’ has applied for a licence to sell alcohol daily from 7am to 11pm.
The licensing application is subject to a statutory consultation. To comment, email licensing@reading.gov.uk. The deadline is Monday, June 15.
The unit sits next to Hair@51 and near the Henley Road parade, which includes a Co-op, independents and flats above.
StreetView shows Dream Doors at the address from 2016; before that it was the offices of George Brownlee & Partners.
