New Hand Car Wash Planned at Aldermaston Garden Centre

Plans to add a hand car wash at Hillier Garden Centre in Aldermaston have been submitted by All Bright Cleaner Ltd.

The company says the site on Basingstoke Road is suitable and won't cause traffic problems. An IN and OUT one-way system will let several cars queue without overspill, and extra garden-centre parking would be used if needed.

On-site parking is expected to stay much the same because most customers will leave their cars and continue shopping.

On a normal weekday the team can handle four cars an hour and clean up to four cars at once, and more staff would be hired to cope with higher demand at weekends.
