A new wine-tasting centre is planned at the Culverlands vineyard on the eastern edge of Burghfield Common.
The freestanding building would be sited within the existing vines east of Culverlands house and used for tastings and related events as part of the existing wine-making business.
An existing timber-framed shelter to the north-west would be demolished. The building is designed to accommodate up to 120 people, though the vineyard says visitor numbers will be much lower because events will be by pre-booked appointment only and attendance will be strictly controlled.
