Reform UK in Wokingham says all borough election candidates were vetted after posts by one hopeful raised eyebrows.
Kai Meade, standing in Bullmershe and Coronation, was convicted at Slough Magistrates Court of using threatening words and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 to victim services.
Mr Meade, who calls himself an "advocate for British Values," has posted about Islam, asylum seekers, international relations and Britain's wartime history.
On March 9, writing in a 'Rupert Lowe MP supporters' group', he asked whether the British were "entitled to financial reparations from Germany" for damage caused in the First and Second World Wars.
Andy Croy replied: "Any GCSE History student can tell you Britain received millions in reparations after the First World War. The damage this did to Germany and the role reparations played in the rise of Hitler was a major reason the policy was not followed after the second."
In another post Mr Meade shared reviews of mosques, arguing Islam "isn't an inclusive faith" and "doesn't align with the values of equality or respect that our country and our society has been built upon." He also questioned why most asylum seekers from Muslim-majority nations seek refuge in the West rather than other Muslim countries.
Mr Croy said: "Modern Britain and modern British people, including Muslims, strive to live by values of equality and respect every day. The forces of hate really hate that we have a successful multicultural society where people are free to worship as they please. We must protect this."
Mr Meade has also criticised Britain's support for Ukraine, claiming Prime Minister Keir Starmer had "led [the country] into the most dangerous situation it has ever been in since World War II." Mr Croy shot back: "Thank goodness Starmer is PM. A PM Farage would have us jumping alternately to the tune of Trump and Putin."
Reform UK Wokingham's deputy leader Colin Wright said: "You need personalities in politics. You can't have grey politicians - you need people who stand out and have character."
Mr Croy added: "These statements are ignorant at best and delusional at worst. They read like a form of Britain‑Trumpism, and we all know how that is working out."
The Bullmershe and Coronation candidates are Kai Meade (Reform UK), Yusra Salman (Conservative), Sheila Jordan (Liberal Democrat), Andy Croy (Labour) and Laurence Beard (Green). A regional spokesperson for Reform UK and Mr Meade were approached for comment.
