Voters in Wokingham look set to give Reform UK strong support, canvassers from several parties say.
A Britain Votes Now poll suggests Conservative wins in Norreys, Shinfield, Loddon and Bullmershe and Coronation wards, but canvassers report many Tory voters are switching to Reform.
Conservatives are also challenging Lib Dem mayor Carol Jewell in South Lake, but Reform's rise could split the centre-right vote and limit damage to Labour and the Lib Dems.
"The fight in South Lake is between the LibDems and Reform."
"Reform is taking huge chunks out of [the Conservatives]. Reform is in second place in South Lake."
"The Tory to Reform UK movement is really going to hurt them."
"If you go canvassing in South Lake and people say they have used their postal vote for Reform UK, that's significant."
"We are campaigning in this election across the whole borough as we have always campaigned and we're campaigning in every ward."
"We'll see what the voters say on May 7."
