Reading's top 10 streets for parking fines have been revealed in Reading Borough Council's annual parking services report for 2024/25.
Oxford Road tops the list with 4,649 penalty charge notices, issued for parking rule breaches, stopping on the council's red route and driving in bus lanes.
Town centre streets dominate the rest of the top 10: Friar Street 1,306, Sackville Street 1,175 and Castle Street 1,078. King's Road had 973 fines.
Two car parks saw hundreds of fines too: Hills Meadow in Caversham 773 and the civic B car park in Castle Street 693.
Lower-level contraventions are set at £50 and higher-level at £70. If paid within 21 days they drop to £25 and £35 respectively.
