Bracknell Tip Faces Temporary Rubbish Restrictions

Longshot Lane Recycling Centre's lower section is closed for essential maintenance from 28 September to 6 October. While work is under way the site cannot accept wood, garden waste, cardboard, plasterboard, soil or hardcore.

Residents are asked to hold these materials until 7 October or take them to the recycling centre in Reading instead.

Damian James, assistant director of contract services, said: "Temporary restrictions are in place at Longshot Lane Recycling Centre from 28 September to 6 October while essential maintenance work is carried out.

"The lower section of the site will be closed while the work takes place, meaning wood, garden waste, cardboard, plasterboard, soil and hardcore cannot be accepted.

"Residents are asked to use the Reading site or hold these materials until 7 October when normal services are due to resume.

"We apologise for any disruption and thank residents for their understanding."
