A bar in Reading town centre could stay open until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays to host music and events, after an application to Reading Borough Council.
The Signal Box, formerly the Pitcher & Piano, is on Friar Street and is owned by Marston's Brewery.
The venue's website says: "Stay all day until we dim the lights and turn up the music, taking you from morning coffee to midnight cocktails."
It is currently open until 11pm Monday to Thursday, 1am on Fridays and Saturdays, and 10pm on Sundays. The licence would allow the sale of alcohol and food, live music, dance, indoor sports and films until 4am.
A statutory consultation is live. You can respond by emailing licensing@reading.gov.uk. The deadline is Thursday, November 19.
The Pitcher & Piano was renamed the Signal Box in July 2024.
