West Berkshire's Solar Together scheme has delivered 102 installations: 90 solar and 12 retrofit batteries, with 1,047 panels fitted and a claimed 70.2 tonnes of carbon saved in a year. Seventeen EV chargers have been installed too.
The council has teamed up with Switch Together to offer the bulk‑buy scheme and make switching to clean energy easier. It also signed a 20-year concession with Connected Kerb in December 2025 and plans to install 600 sockets across the district.
