Mr T's Celebrates Two Years with Discounts!

Mr T's fast-food chain, named after the boxer and actor from the A‑Team, is marking its second Reading anniversary with customer offers.

Mr T's launched in 2016 and is named after Laurence T, the boxer and actor who played the character Bosco 'B.A.' Baracus in the A‑Team TV series from the 1980s.

The first Bradford location drew visits from Floyd Mayweather and Tyson Fury, and Deontay Wilder opened the Batley branch in August 2019.

Mr T's opened in Reading in August 2024 in an exterior unit of the Broad Street Mall facing Oxford Road. To mark the second anniversary customers can get 25 per cent off selected food items from Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30. The day before, queues formed for an earlier 50 per cent off event that was marked with a balloon arch and a cake cutting.

Opening hours are 12pm to midnight Sunday to Thursday, and 12pm to 2am Friday to Saturday. The chain won permission for the extended hours after a late night refreshments licence was granted by Reading Borough Council in December 2024.

The Oxford Road restaurant has 4.8 stars out of five on Google. A recent review by J B Mahmud states: "It's a great place for burger choices, funky drinks and good options for desserts and milkshakes.

"The food quality is great and fresh."
